Tzu Yao Lin Enhancing Raman Signals through Electromagnetic Hot Zones Induced by Magnetic Dipole Resonance of Metal-Free Nanoparticles

In this study, we found that the large area of electromagnetic field hot zone induced through magnetic dipole resonance of metal-free structures can greatly enhance Raman scattering signals. The magnetic resonant nanocavities, based on high-refractive-index silicon nanoparticles (SiNPs), were designed to resonate at the wavelength of the excitation laser.

The application of the DGL optimization technique to the design of optical coating is presented. A DGL optimization technique is provided, and its main features are discussed. Guidelines on the application of the DGL optimization technique to various types of design problems are given.

A WLSI-based spectrometer is constructed a spectral centroid algorithm for performance improvement. The bio-applicability of the proposed spectrometer was investigated using the rs242557 tau gene. The LOD was calculated as 15 pM. These results demonstrate that the proposed WLSI-based spectrometer could become a sensitive time-domain spectroscopic biosensing platform.

Wei-Hsuan Hsu Raman Spectroscopy and XPS investigations of Aluminum Oxynitride Films Prepared by HIPIMS

The Aluminum oxynitride films with different oxygen flow rate were deposited by high power impulse magnetron sputtering. The crystalline quality, chemical bonding and stoichiometry of Aluminum oxynitride films were characterized using micro-Raman spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.

In this paper, we use optical communication simulation software to build an Echo State Network structure. Noise is added in the input signals. The result shows that the structure can still classify the input data, even if the noise of the signal is 0.14Watt.
