Chih-Hung Chen Design of Copying System for Disk-type Multiplex Holography with Symmetric Reference Wave

The design of optical copying system and the reconstruction condition for disk-type multiplex holograms are introduced in this paper. We here focus on the normal-viewing type multiplex holography and then describe the replication process using symmetric reference wave for the possibility of mass production.

Tzu-Hsuan Yang Space Limited Method for Speckle Reduction in Holographic Projection Display

Speckle phenomenon is effectively reduced in a holographic projection display using the method of integration of negatively correlated images (NCI)s. These NCIs were designed using a modified Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm with a spatial constraint in the object domain. The speckle contrast was reduced by 53% with two images summation.

Three-dimensional (3D) image reconstruction has been developed in recent years due to 3D print technology. Here, we combine a smart phone with structured light source to experimentally demonstrate 3D reconstructed images.

SUNIL VYAS White light beam shaping by volume holographic gratings

We experimentally show the generation of white-light beam shapes from volume holographic gratings. The angle-wavelength coupling degeneracy of volume holograms allows white-light reconstruction of beam shapes recorded onto thick holographic grating. The results presented here may find important applications in beam shaping for wavelength-tunable and low coherence light sources.

Kuang-Che Chang Chien An Effective Compression Method of Fringe Patterns for Three-dimensional Surface Reconstruction

To achieve real-time three-dimensional (3D) surface scanning, we present a data compression scheme to improve transmission rate of fringe patterns acquired by fringe projection profilometry. The compression scheme is performed based on ADL wavelet transform to reduce storage space and reserve the desired fringe deformation for 3D surface reconstruction.

Tzu-Yang Weng Deformation Measurement System by Photochromic- Material-Based Holographic Interferometry

A deformation measurement system by photochromic-material-based holographic interferometry is proposed. The conventional holographic process, such as development, fixing and cleaning, is not necessary, and the presented method can directly reconstruct the object image after exposure. In our experiments, the deformation of objects with the different reflectivity was measured with high resolution.

Tien-Shou Yeh The Astigmatism Analysis for a Holographic Waveguide Combiner

A holographic waveguide device is used in the head-mounted-display in order to generate a compact combiner for the see-through display system. The astigmatism aberration induced by the holographic combiner is analyzed theoretically and verified experimentally.

Fang-Yun Lee Synthesis and Characterization of Ionic-bonding Azobenzene-Based Holographic Storage Materials by Sol-Gel Process
