Hsien-Yao Tseng Displacement measurement with dual grating encoder

In this paper, a novel optical encoder was proposed which integrated dual gratings and heterodyne interferometer. Compare to commercial interferometer, the displacement difference between them were within 0.36% and 0.7% for the travel ranges of 40 μm and 0.1 μm, respectively

In this study, we study a reflector that can be passed by European ECE regulations , which is made up of a curved surface with a 2.78MM hexagonal pins , we use SolidWorks software to drawing parts , and use of TracePro for optical simulation and optimization test.

Liu Fan Hsuan Fabricated a heterodyne light source with birefringent crystal wavelength-modulated technique

We proposed a heterodyne light source which integrated with wavelength-modulated laser diode and birefriengent crystal. To demonstrate the performance of new heterodyne light source, the heterodyne light generated by commercial electro-optic modulator was adopted to compare. The results showed that the proposed method exhibited more stability than existing modulator.

Xing-Yuan Huang Turbidity Monitoring of Electrical Discharge Machining by Frustrated Total Internal Reflection

The purpose of this study is to develop an optical turbidity measured system to improve the machining accuracy and lifetime of Electrical Discharge Machining(EDM). Based on the frustrated total internal reflection effect, the turbidity of EDM neutral oil can be determined. The minimum resolvable concentration of EDM oil is 0.5%.

Several Taiwan and the US institutes of high energy experiment society have collaborated to develop a highly radiation hardness VCSEL optical transmission module. Here, we reports the results on the optical module we have developed, which include the radiation hardness test, module package assembly, environmental aging test.

Ching Shi Lin Tunable Single-Wavelength by Variable Splitting Ratio in Ring Cavity Erbium–Doped Fiber Laser

The variable splitting ratio from 10 to 90% of optical coupler was used in the ring cavity erbium-doped fiber laser to achieve the tunable single-wavelength from 1559.25 to 1566.85 nm. This phenomenon is explained by the relations between gain and wavelengths with different light intensities transmitting through the erbium-doped fiber.

Li ZONG ZHAN Optical Module for Laser Headlamp with modulated Light Field

We use this way to apply in the headlamp module. Because laser has a high energy, the number of light sources can be reduced. Then we design optical elements and optical path architecture, and ray tracing simulation by ASAP optical simulation software.

Li-Yang Chung Optical Simulation of Transparent Conductive Films with IWO/NTO Anti-reflection Coating for Silicon Solar Cells

Optical simulation of transparent conductive films with anti-reflection coating for silicon solar cells was optimized by the freeware OPAL2. By adopting double layers IWO/NTO with the respective low and high refractive indices to find the optimal surface reflection, films absorption, and substrate absorption in the range from 380nm to 1200nm.

It is the application of optical linear reflection principle, which is the use of Radiant energy and solar energy in the high-temperature heat and ultraviolet light to sterilize, can be applied to Organic seed sterilization technology.

Zhao Xian Wang Study of Car LED Projector

The car LED projector for showing logo patterns on ground is composed of a white light LED, an aspheric condenser lens, an aspheric imaging lens and a logo pattern plate.The aspheric imaging lens is for projecting a 100X enlarged image of the pattern on ground.
