Jyun-Yu Lin Non-Rare-Earth Element Based on High Quantum Efficiency Organic Materials Used for Warm Light LED

In this study, we presented non-rare-earth phosphor powder used for WLED. The CRI of mixture of the green-yellow and red phosphor powder is 88.2. Moreover, the CCT of these phosphor powder is 5190 K which is suitable for indoor lighting at night.

Po-Hsun Liao UV LEDs grown on GaN templates with selective-area Si implantation for enhancing light output power

GaN-based UV LEDs grown on GaN templates with Si-implanted stripes were studied. The GaN-based layers regrown on the Si-implanted templates exhibited selective-area and lateral growth. It was attributed to the difference of lattice constant between the Si-implanted and implantation-free regions. The UV LEDs with Si-implanted GaN exhibited higher output power.

Jian-Yu Shen Study on White Light LED Spectral Characteristics of Underwater Illumination

In this paper, the spectral energy change of white light LEDs of underwater illumination is simulated and analyzed . The simulation results showed the highly positive relationship between spectral energy decay, extinction coefficient and Mie scattering of sea water.

Su Yin Yan Tuning the Correlated Color Temperature of White Light-Emitting Diode with Liquid Crystal Modulator

We proposed a liquid crystal modulated white LED in this study. The liquid crystal cell in the structure is partially aligned, and could be used to adjust the blue light hitting the red phosphor region and then provide the white light with different CCT.
