Ching-Fu Lin Organic-Semiconductor Sub-Centimeter Proximity Sensor with a Self-Calibration Function

We fabricated an air-stable finger-type organic photodetector to serve as a proximity sensor to detect sub-centimeter distance (1 mm to 10 mm). By analyzing the sensing response from various reflecting objects with different irradiating light, we propose a self-calibration method with time-sequenced irradiation.

Chih-Hsuan Shih Analysis of Infrared Optical Properties of AZO Transparent Conductive Film

The purpose of this experiment is to investigate the impact of the transmittance of the transparent conductive film on the infrared section. The experimental results show that when AZO in the infrared light section has a good conductivity.

Chun-Po Yang An Amorphous Indium-Gallium-Oxide Bilayer Solar-Blind Photodetectors

We fabricated bi-layer a-IGO MSM UV PDs by in-situ co-sputtering method using Ga2O3 and In2O3 targets at room temperature on glass substrate. Under UV irradiations of cutoff wavelengths, the devices we reported could represent 4 orders magnitude of IPho/IDark ratio and 5 orders magnitude of UV-to-visible rejection ratio.

Shau-Chiuan Chen Characterization of Cu2ZnSnSe4 (CZTSe) thin-film solar cells

Polycrystalline Cu2ZnSnSe4 (CZTSe) thin films were directly deposited on Mo-coated glass substrates by evaporation and following selenization. Single-phase CZTSe films were formed in the temperature range of 480–540 °C.

Siou-Ci Li LSPR Based Copper Ions Sensor Using Gold Nanoparticles Modified by Cysteine

In the present study, gold nanoparticles were prepared by using photochemical methods, and then modified by cysteine (Cys) on a glass substrate. Finally, Cys/AuNPs film was used for detecting copper ions. The results show that Cys/AuNPs film has a red-shift value of 68 nm for copper ions sensing.

Bo-Han Qiu Fabrication of a High-Sensitive Humidity Sensor Using D-shaped fiber and Indium Tin Oxide Coatings

This paper presents a high-sensitivity relative humidity sensor based on ITO coatings and lossy mode resonance. A new humidity sensor has a highest sensitivity with D-shaped fiber residual thickness of 73 μm and ITO thin-film thickness of 23 nm. The sensitivity of the proposed humidity sensor is 8.609 nm/%RH.

Sin-Yi Jiang Effects of Metal Electrodes on High-mobility InWO Thin Film Transistor for High-resolution Display Applications

The high performance amorphous indium tungsten oxide (a-IWO) thin film transistor with different electrode was investigated for high-resolution display Applications. Aluminum is more suitable as source and drain because of its lower contact resistance. It leads to the a-IWO TFTs with Al electrode demonstrated high mobility to 28.34 cm2/V s.

Yu-Xuan Wang Influence of Dipole Effect in Flexible Low Temperature Poly-Si TFTs fabricated on Polyimide

This letter investigates that LTPS TFTs fabricated on PI possess better performance.The phenomenon is considered to be the molecular dipole behavior in PI.By reducing the thickness of buffer layer, the effects of the dipole will be more severer.

In this work, two-turn SiO2 nanohelices are obliquely deposited upon one-turn Ag nanohelices to form an Ag-SiO2 nanoheliex array. Since the SiO2 nanohelices function as a grade index layer on the top of Ag nanohelix array, the wide angle light extinction Is is enhanced by reducing the reflection

Cheng-Chung Jaing Design and Implementation of Broadband Antireflection Coating for Luminescent Solar Concentrators

Luminescent solar concentrators comprise thick glass with broadband antireflection coating deposited on the top surfaces and inorganic phosphor layers contacted on the bottom surfaces. Solar cells are contacted to the lateral surfaces of the glass. Experimental results show the broadband antireflection coating increased the short-circuit current of the solar cell.

Chih-Hsien Tsai Non-invasive measurement of heart rate and related applications using proximity sensor of cell phone

We use non-invasive characteristics of the commercial proximity sensor to measure the heart rate. Under test people only need to put a finger on the sensor, so that can the heart rate of under test people can be measured. And even can be found there is no arrhythmia situation occurred.

Jhou Yang Cheng Organic Perovskite Single Crystals prepared by Inverse Temperature Growth and Research on Their Characteristics

In this study, the inverse temperature crystallization (ITC) method was used to produce single crystal perovskite, in which the heating time in the inverse temperature process was adjusted to investigate the influence of the quality of the crystal surface on carrier mobility.

The magnetic beads (MBs) have a great specific surface area for urease immobilization. The graphene oxide(GO)/nickel oxide (NiO) double-layered film was exploited as matrix for urea biosensor. In this work, effect of MBs on urea biosensor was investigated through atomic force microscopy (AFM) and voltage-time (V-T) system.

GUO-ZHANG WU Different Wet Chemical Oxidation Parameters to Grow Passivated Contact on Silicon Solar Cell

In this paper, we study the silicon oxide film(1.4nm) was grown by wet chemical oxidation method, and the change of different growing parameters in solar cell. With the heat treatment, the lifetime can be increased to 1108 us. Solar cell efficiency was improved from 10.8 % to11.5 %.
